We work primarily on diesel engines for private and commercial boats and we supply Perkins and Beta Marine engines, which we believe last over time. Peterborough based Perkins manufacture engines up to 300 hp and are often chosen for fishing boats and ferries. Well-maintained they can run well for fourty years.

In its Gloucestershire factory Beta take engine blocks made by Kubota in Osaka, Japan, and marinise them. Betas have a power output ranging from 10 hp to 147 hp, which we typically fit in smaller boats such as private yachts. The quality of the marinisation and low cost of spares makes them suited to owners refitting their boat and taking a longer view.
